The Chalet Beyond Team
At Chalet Beyond we have been discovering the mountains in summer and winter for over 17 years. Since 2005, our team has been committed to finding the finest chalets with a great location and passionate chalet hosts to make our guests happy.
Why? Because we are passionate about the mountains and winter sports ourselves. For us, there is no better way to share this passion with you than to ensure a great and fully catered stay at Chalet Beyond!
Jeroen Hop
Owner of Chalet Beyond
My love for nature, and the mountains in particular, gave me the urge to cycle up these mountains. I started doing this, and this hobby kind of got out of hand. After many cycling holidays, one thing became clear to me: this is what really gets me fired up. I want to share my enthusiasm for cycling in the mountains with as many people as possible!I started doing this with Ride Up Cycling Tours. Since 2026, I can call myself the owner of Chalet Beyond. The amazing world of winter sports was added as well—also wonderfully active in the mountains! You can approach me for just about anything. I will always try to come up with a suitable proposal to make our guests happy. We organize your unforgettable winter sports or cycling holiday!

Wouter Berendsen
Founder Chalet Beyond
For me, every day is all about improving our unlimited packages and providing excellent service to our customers. I founded Chalet Beyond in 2005. Since the beginning of 2026, I have handed over the reins. I am now training my successor to ensure the company continues in the best possible way.
“I still like to play outside, so you can regularly find me skiing or cycling in the mountains.”

Linda
HR Manager
Years ago, my love for the mountains and snowboarding brought me to the Alps. Soon, cycling in the summer was added as a leisure activity. In the meantime, I enjoy my Enduro in the forest on exciting descents just as much as I enjoy a challenging climb on my racing bike. I also like to take long walks on the beautiful paths of Oz and the surrounding area.
As the HR Manager at Chalet Beyond my main task is to recruit and guide our staff. In addition, I am involved in processing bookings.
Hope to see you soon!

Jason & Renée
Chalet Hosts
Hello, our names are Jason & Renée. We are chalet hosts and regular staff at Chalet Beyond. In summer you will find us in the cycling hotel in Oz-en-Oisans, and in winter in one of our catered chalets.
We will always try to spoil our guests by making delicious meals!
After living abroad for a couple of years and travelling a lot, we landed at Chalet Beyond because of our love for the mountains. We both enjoy living in nature and in summer you can always find us hiking, climbing or running in our free time. In winter we like to hit the slopes of course!
We hope to see you as a guest sometime, and make sure you will have an unforgettable holiday!

Rik & Laura
Chalethosts Anna
We are Rik and Laura — two adventurers with a great love for winter sports who have left behind our old lives to search for a new place to live and work in the mountains. In the spring of 2025, we began this journey. Since then, we’ve explored the Alps, the Pyrenees, and the Dolomites in our camper, skiing and hiking along the way.
Now it’s time to experience what it’s like to share our passion for mountain sports with others by working in La Plagne. We’re eager to roll up our sleeves and give our future guests at Chalet Anna an unforgettable holiday. Rik is a creative soul who loves to organize — cooking is his passion. Laura is a hands-on go-getter with an eye for detail — baking and making desserts are her favorite hobbies. A perfect match!

Amanda & Hiske
Chalethosts Gelinotte & Brocard
Hi winter sports lovers! This coming winter, we’re lucky enough to welcome you to one of the Beyond chalets in Oz-en-Oisans. As outdoor enthusiasts, we love living and working in an environment where being outside is at the heart of everything — both in winter and in summer.
Over the past two years, we’ve spent a lot of time traveling with our camper and by bike. Our biggest challenge was cycling all the way to the North Cape. There, we learned how to cook something delicious every day with very few supplies — and sometimes even prepare a full three-course dinner ourselves.
For the past year, we’ve had a cheerful little four-legged friend named Puk living with us. This means we put on our hiking shoes every day to head out and explore with Puk.
In recent years, Amanda has worked as a dental surgery assistant and runs a small outdoor business. She leads bootcamp training sessions and has guided several outdoor projects as a trip leader. Providing service comes naturally to her.
In recent years, Hiske has worked on projects focused on outdoor activities, both in the Netherlands and abroad. She’s a hobby chef and loves preparing delicious meals for a group of people.
Together, we’re looking forward to welcoming you this winter. See you soon!
