Would you like the privacy of your own chalet combined with the comfort of hotel service? When staying in a chalet, you can optionally book half board or breakfast. This service is available for groups of 10 people or more only.

Half board includes: breakfast, freshly prepared three-course dinner, bed and bath linen, and final cleaning

Ride your own Marmotte with full support
The Marmotte Granfondo is a must-ride. Whether you participate in the annual Granfondo or take on the route at your own pace, it remains a stunning and challenging experience. Ensure a carefree ride with our support vehicle or cycling guide.
At Chalet Beyond, we provide everything you need to ride the Marmotte on your own. The day before your ride, we hold a briefing and collect items for the support vehicle. We equip the vehicle with water, fruit, and some snacks. Naturally, we also bring repair materials for any mechanical issues along the way.
In addition to this practical support, we’ll cheer you on at the summits and take a few great photos of your ride! In short, ride the Marmotte with the support of a true pro team!

Extra information
Our chalets near Alpe d’Huez are located in Oz-en-Oisans Station (at an altitude of 1,350 metres).
The base of the most famous cycling climb in the Alps, Alpe d’Huez, is about 17 kilometres from the chalet. This includes a 7-kilometre descent. The remaining 10 flat kilometres through the valley are ideal for warming up your muscles before starting the climb up Alpe d’Huez.
Nowadays, you can ride with minimal car traffic via a dedicated cycle path along the Romanche River to Bourg d’Oisans. On the way back, it’s possible to take an alternative scenic route from Alpe d’Huez that brings you directly back toward the climb to the cycling chalet. This shortcut joins the road at bend three—saving you a steep extra kilometre!
The start of the Col de Glandon and Col de la Croix de Fer follows directly after the first descent from Oz-en-Oisans. During the summer holiday season, you can take the lift from the valley (Allemond) straight to Oz Station. Bicycles are allowed on the lift, so if you’ve had enough cycling for the day, you can simply ride the lift back to the chalet. The lift is open during July and August.
