Ride Your Own Marmotte with Full Support
The Marmotte Granfondo is a must-ride experience. Whether it’s during the annual Granfondo event or at your own pace at another time, the route remains stunning and challenging! Ensure a worry-free ride with our support vehicle or cycling guide.
At Chalet Beyond, we provide everything you need to ride the Marmotte independently. The day before your ride, we’ll hold a briefing and collect items you’d like in the support vehicle. Our vehicle is stocked with water, fruit, and treats, along with repair gear in case of any issues.
In addition to this practical support, we’ll be there to cheer you on at each peak and capture some fantastic photos of your experience! In short, ride the Marmotte with the full support of a pro team!

Extra information
Our Alpe d’Huez chalets are located in Oz-en-Oisans Station (at an altitude of 1,350m). The foot of the most famous cycling mountain in the Alps, the Alpe d’Huez, is approximately 17 kilometers from the chalet. This includes a 7 kilometer long descent. The 10 remaining flat kilometers in the valley are perfect to warm up your legs before you start the climb of the Alpe d’Huez.
Nowadays you can cycle to the Bourg d’Oisans via a cycle path along the Romanche river. On the way back, it is possible to take a shortcut from the Alpe d’Huez that will take you directly back to the climb towards the cycling hotel over a beautiful road. You’ll arrive at the third bend and that saves you another steep kilometer of climbing!
The start of the Col de Glandon and Croix de Fer starts immediately after the first descent from Oz-en-Oisans. During the summer holidays you can take the lift from the valley (Allemond) directly to Oz Station. You can also bring your bicycle, so if you’re done cycling for the day, simply take the lift back to the chalet. The lift is open in the months of July and August.
