Catered chalet La Joly

From winter 2018/2019 we can offer catered chalet La Joly. This chalet is located direct to the slopes in the authentic mountainvillage La Chapelle d’Abondance and is an ideal wintersportlocation. The ski area of Crêt-Béni, direct in front of the chalet, is ideal for beginners and families. Experienced skiers can find a black slope as well. In the village, 5 minutes by car or by free skibus, you take take the lift to the ski area Les Portes du Soleil with 680 kilometers of slopes.

The chalet is suited for groups till 16 persons. In the cozy living area with comfortable sofas you can relax around the fire place after a day at the slopes. The chalet has got a separate breakfast and dinner room with bar and apres ski conservatory with fire place. In total there are 7 bedrooms with bathroom en suite. There are 5 bedrooms with two single beds and 2 bedrooms for 3 persons. The owners, Cor and Judy, will serve the catering in the chalet.

Short ski prices

Shortski prices are based on a stay of three nights with arrival on a Wednesday or Saturday. Would you like to stay a day longer or shorter? Or arriving on another day? Contact us for the possibilities.

Some availability

In weeks that have some availability we have a short ski booking. In these weeks it is possible to book for a short ski but not for a whole week anymore.

Additional products

Chalet Beyond can arrange liftpasses, ski lessons, equipment hire and airport transfers for you. Deal with one organisation for all your reservations, one invoice, all arranged before departure. Nice and easy! Some products even cheaper than at the resort. You can add these extra products on our reservation form, which you will receive by booking one of our chalets. We will take care of it.

Lift passes

Pre-book your liftpasses with us and we will make sure we hand over the passes by arrival. Don’t waste your time!

Equipment hire

In the basement of the chalet is a shihop of the owner of the chalet. Exclusive for their guest they offer rentals with new products.

Ski and snowboard lessons

The local Ecole de Ski France (ESF) is our partner for ski and snowboard lessons. For small children they have the ‘kindergarten’. Lessons will start at the age of 5 or 6 years old. You can book lessons for 6 days. The lessons will be 4 hours a day. It is also possible to prebook private lessons. We are glad to take care of your reservation.

Airport transfer

When you fly into Geneva or Chambery or take the train we can organize an (airport) transfer for you to the chalet. Just let us know.

Ski area Cret-Beni and Les Portes du Soleil

Chalet La Joly is located directly at the slopes of the ski area Cret-Beni. This is a child friendly ski are with seven lifts, an flat practice area, chair lifts and atmospheric restaurant. In total there are 10 kilometer of blue and red slopes. The ski are is part of the larger ski are Les Portes du Soleil. But you can also buy a cheap liftpass for only the small area.

Les Portes du Soleil

The free skibus, stop in front of the chalet, will bring you in 5 minutes in Châtel, the village with entrace to the ski area of Les Portes du Soleil. This snow sure ski area is suited for starters and advanced skiers. You can ski in France and Switserland with their own characteristic villages.

The main attraction of this ski area is the wide range. You can make day tours through the different authentic villages. Also for beginners this is possible because there are a lot of easy slopes as well. Through the location and alltitude there are many slopes between the trees, but you can alos have a brilliant view over de lake of Geneva.
